Bozeman based analog photographer, focused on the American West.
Phoebe Zea is an analogue photographer born and raised in San Francisco, California. Currently pursuing a B.A in Bozeman, Montana, Phoebe’s work focuses on both the mental and physical juxtapositions between her home state and life in the rural West. Funded by the McNair Scholars Program, she has published and presented her research, Touched Landscapes: Americans’ changing perceptions and interactions with the West in numerous conferences across the country, as well as local gallery shows. Phoebe plans to continue her work exploring the West on film while pursuing a J.D. in intellectual property law over the coming years.
